My dell inspiron laptop is frozen.
with an error message" dell media direct cannot access your hard drive because you may have enabled Microsoft bit locker drive encription
how do I resolve this issue?

Last time we fixed this.

We slipped in a new blank HDD then used the restore media. To regain access to the files we put the old HDD into some USB enclosure and used http://www.lostpassword.com/hdd-decryption.htm

It was an expensive lesson about encrypting content. Sometimes it takes an event like this for folk to learn.
