Some are cheap to fix like the battery, others, not so much. You are there so which beep code is it?

I have a dell Inspiron N5110 i5 laptop. Whenever I press the power button this thing comes with a beep beep sound. The sound becomes louder with time. And the laptop don't turn on. But when I remove the ram and re install the ram this problem disappears and the laptop runs smoothly. But after I shut down the laptop and turn it on this problem appears again.
What is the problem guys? Should I change the ram help me out.
