Dell Inspiron 15 3000

What a disappointment!!!
The new Inspiron I just purchased is a downgrade compared to my older Dell Inspiron 3000 with Windows 7. In spite of making every adjustment possible I can't get it to the level of performance of my older Dell. It is Slooow, the display on my older Dell is stunning compared to the new one. Both the new and the old Dell have Truelife HD display. I think it's a combination of Dell lowering their quality standards and Windows 10.
I will continue using my older Inspiron as it solidly outperforms the new one!

I have a 2006 Inspiron that is quite nice on W10 but it has some 120GB SSD, 2GB or RAM and a 32 bit CoreDuo. From cold it boots and gets on the web in 33 seconds. My newer dell is much better but it's a lot better PC.

The 120GB SSD was 30 bucks on sale so that's why.

On a HDD it may feel glacial. Did you go solid?
