Dell Forum Unavailable?

by mlg63 / March 21, 2009 6:38 AM PDT

The community forum at Dell Support is not available today. The dreaded old 'Sorry there was a problem...' error is back. Is Dell switching to this forum?

Sounds like Dell customers having too many problems with their machines as I noticed when I got my new laptop it didn't take more than a week to start hitting my head and feel sorry for ordering dell.
I had dell before for 3 years and was Ok but Dell went down with their quality down to the bottom.

If you try to return it they will charge you %15 restocking.

Unfortunately I was talking to friends and they are mostly unhappy crowd with Dell quality.

I have no choice but to agree for replacement, but if they send me other laptop with headaches I will return it and what the hell with $150 and get something more respectful like a MAC.

Try buying something from Dell's Small Biz website, they offer a 30 day return policy and the guy who sold me my computers told me I would not be charged any restocking fees if I did decide to return something which I haven't plus their computers seem to be better built than the Dells sold through the Home Office website.

I've had a Dell Dimension 3100 desktop PC for more than 3 years, I bought it from the Small Biz website and I have never had to contact tech support about anything so far and I recently acquired a Vostro 1510 laptop also from the Small Biz website in February 2009 to replace an Inspiron 1300 laptop I purchased from them at the same time I got my Dimension 3100 desktop PC in April 2006.

I'd probably still be using that Inspiron 1300 laptop if I hadn't accidently dropped it last year and killed the monitor. So far I haven't had any problems with the Vostro 1510 laptop yet and I hope that I don't but it's still too early to tell because I've only had the new laptop for about 2 months.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
