Dell has sent out restore DVDs in the past which were only the Dell supplied OS that we need to finish later with drivers and apps (such as the Intel RST and Dell's Quickset.)
As more consumers use PCs they moved to a complete restore system where it's all done for the consumer. Tech heads didn't like that but what this means is no one but Dell may know if you have the usual work to do after using these discs.
I have a dell inspiron pc with a problem. I have run diagnostics and done a dell back up and restore, to no avail. So dell tell me my only option is a manual restore. They are sending me a windows 7 installation disc, so my question is, is there an order to install discs, windows, drivers, graphics etc or doesn't it matter. Thank you in advance
