If not, the machine needs repairs.
And before all that, load the BIOS defaults.
This is my first time asking a question in a forum type environment. My cousin bought a Dell E521 with Vista Premium OS and the Hardrive crashed (after warranty expired of course)I had to purchase the recovery discs from a company. I inserted the recovery disc but the disc would not read for some reason. I said forget it and installed the hardirve on my personal computer and installed Vista Business (clean install) After everything was completely installed, i removed the hard dirve from my computer and installed it back into the Dell E521 hit the start button and got the same error message about no bootable devices found. I checked the connections to the hardrive, replaced the SATA cable and still nothing. There is power going to the hard drive. I messed with the BIOS settings even though the Bios showed no bootable devices installed. What the Heck? Any help is greatly appreciated !!!
