Dell Dimension 3000 keeps rebooting to the Dell screen

Hi there,
Here is my problem. My Dell Dimension 3000 keeps rebooting to the Dell splash screen. All what it does is going back to the splash screen.

Any help will be appreciated.

Dell Dimension 530 reboots to the Dell screen

I too can't get past the splash screen....no response if I press F2(Setup) or F12(Boot menu). I do get the POST beep....I have had a sporadic problem recently where I got an error message that the keyboard wasn't connected but rebooting once or twice got me past that.

Windows XP with all updates.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated, too.

Has me think you need to inspect the machine for BAD CAPS (google that.) The symptom you wrote about points to that issue.
