Dell Demension 4550 help

I want to do a system recovery on the computer. I was told to press ctrl + F11 to access, but it does not work. All I have is the dell windows disc and the resource cd for drivers and utilites. I have inserted the windows cd in, but it asks for an administrative password that isn't the same as the password that I log into windows with. Can anybody help me out? Dell wants over $100 to talk me through it because my warrenty is over. Thanks.

1. Press return for the password.

2. Use this article to find the administrator password if you can't get in with safe mode to change it.
