When you're on the logon screen, the default cursor should be in the box where you enter your password. Try typing in your password and then hitting enter to logon. Does that work?
Once you're in, you can right-click on the desktop and change display settings through the right-click menu.
Hope this helps.

Ok hardware is a old dell d600 running xp. with an ati 9000 vid card. I was in the ati display propertys and hit the move 90* and zoom by mistake. But it zoomed so much that I couldent get back to the start button. I was stuck so did a ctrl-alt-del to restart and now i am stuck on the log on screen cause its till zoomed and I can only see the bottom left of the screen with the turn off computer button. I caint drag scroll or anything? How can I get the display back to normal? I tried a boot with f2 but didnt see anything in the bios i could change to help. Even hooked it up to a large LCD and I get the same thing just on a grander scale.
Any Ideas?
