Dell computers and spybot

Oct 11, 2009 10:33AM PDT

why is it that spybot always doesn't think you're the administrator only on Dell computers?? I run it on HP on my laptop, no problem, but only on my dell desktop and someone else's dell laptop does it say I am not the administrator, so it won't fully imunize me nor does it fix certain problems. I am the only icon on this one, and he is the only icon on his laptop, so obviously we are the administrators. does anyone know a fix for this??

Time to move on.

If you follow the moderators we don't suggest spybot today. If you want this fixed, talk to the spybot company. Look at what Grif and most mods offer today -> http://forums.cnet.com/5208-6142_102-0.html?messageID=3105025

There is another discussion about administrators and permissions. Some thought the admin account would have god like powers. That's not true in this OS.
