Dell A940 and Windows Vista

Trying to get my Dell A940 printer to work...have updated driver and printer still is not communicating. Everythings else is physically fine. Is this printer not compatible with Vista?

It's compatible...

Dell does support its use under Vista, with three updates being made available. (One driver update, one application update, and one generic patch.) If that doesn't resolve it let us know exactly what's happening, such as is it being shown under Printers, is an error message being displayed, etc.

Let us know.

Dell A940 Printer

Ok...did all the updates...now trying to print a test page and although the printing status window pops up saying that it is printing, it isn't. So I checked the status of the printer and it says that it is "offline." I've tried to refresh, resume or restart printing with no luck. Sounds like I'm heading in the right direction with the updates...just not sure why the printer is saying that it is offline.
