Deleting Yahoo widget

by lales27 / September 28, 2009 7:40 AM PDT

Apologies if this has been answered (I can't find it though):

I installed the new TV Guide widget which turns out to be pretty useless if you have cable (I should have known better...).

I don't want it, so how do I uninstall it? I can't seem to find a method.

Thanks!

lales27,

It's integrated into the television. There's not a way I'm aware of to uninstall the Widgets feature.

Sorry I wasn't clearer HD Tech. It's not the Samsung widget feature I want to delete, but simply the TV Guide widget I want to get rid of.

lales27,

Whoops on my part. [blush] My apologizes, I definitely should have caught that.

Okay. Highlight the TV Guide Widget ("Snippet") in the dock. Press the yellow button. You can delete the widget by then pushing the red button. To exit the menu, hit the yellow button again.

It will be available if you want to re-install it later.

Does that help?

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
