Deleting TMP files...

by cgarrity / January 16, 2006 6:51 AM PST

I saw a site on the internet that suggested a way to delete all temp files by entering the following string in "Search" where the root directory of the C drive is selecteded. *.tmp,*.chk,~*.*

After the search function finds all the temp files, a "Control-a" followed by the delete key will wash them all to the Recycle Bin.

My question is "Is this the best way to delete temp files on my computer and is it safe?"
