1. Check the attributes of the files (they might be system or read-only). Clear that and try again.
2. Check access setting on the folders they are in. You might have to login as Administrator to have write access to them. XP Pro, you know.
3. A trick that sometimes works. Move all other files out of the folder, then delete the folder. Then recreate the folder and move the other files back.

Hope this helps.

Woodturk,

It could be that there are still remnants of NAV on the system, especially registry entries that are locking up the system. You didn't indicate the EXACT version of NAV that you had installed, but here are the manual uninstall instructions that might help you sort that out. For versions 2003 and earlier, I've found that running the "RNAV2003.exe" utility can help get everything removed. After using it, you can then go check on anything that remains and delete it.:

Hope this helps.

Text runs out of the available space.

Grif,

Text should wrap around automatically, isn't it? All posts do, except this one.

First line ends with 'systen' (only first half of m), second starts with 'indicate'.
Second line ends with 'he' (first half of help), third line starts with 'out'.
Link to NAV2004 isn't complete either ('97007bcdd0?' left out).
The message is still understandable, but not very easy to read.

Error in (my) IE5.5SP2? Error in forum software? HTML doesn't look especially wrong, on the first sight.
Never seen this before.

I don't find this software consistent in the least. I've had this happen more time . . . Have reported it in "Feedback" -- which they know already. There is just no consistency when using the exact same approach each time.

Kees, Yep, I've Seen It Happen Before Too...The Fix

....for me, usually involves clicking on "View" in the upper left of IE, choose "Text Size", choose "Smaller".

Unfortunately, I'm not sure why it happens in the first place. Bill said it plain...the software isn't the greatest.

Hope this helps.
