Deleting iPad e-mail

Jan 7, 2014 12:39PM PST

Can someone tell me how to delete all my e-mails at one time. I have 700 emails on my iPad and cannot figure out how to delete them all at one time. I cannot imagine Apple not programming this feature in. I have searched and tried in vain to get this done. I have deleted some of them by checking a bunch one by one, but this is very time consuming.

Which email service are you using ??

I think you need to contact them directly for help. Unless the application was written by Apple, it is not their fault.

Have you tried this?

iPad in landscape mode.
With your list of emails visible, tap the Edit button at the top right of the column.
Now tap each email in turn, this puts a check mark next to it, and continue down the list, scrolling as necessary.
Once done, tap the Trash button at the bottom right of the column and they all go away.

Have not found a way to select all at once though.
