Deleting Hot Fixs

Nov 29, 2004 5:42AM PST

After the installation of SP2 is it necassary to keep the previous 19 Hot Fix Updates that I downloaded prior to SPs? Would it be safe to delete these via Add/Remove prgrams?

Bob, you had better make sure that your installation of SP2 was actually successful. Part of the installation of SP2 removes them so your installation MIGHT not be complete.

SP2 includes a built-in AutoRecovery feature that lets you recover from an interrupted or unsuccessful installation (Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs) and choose to uninstall the partial installation, [Q878455].

Yes, I just noticed they were still on my Add/Remove so will leave them as they take up no room.
Thanks
