Trying to delete an excel file and folder, but get this message: "The file names would be to long for the destination folder"
Thanks.

Easy things to try:
1. Shift + delete in stead of normal delete to the recycle bin.
2. Rename file and folder to something shorter before deleting.
3. Delete from command prompt.
Somewhat more difficult:
4. Boot to a Linux disk or stick and delete it from their file manager.

By the way, what's an "Excel folder"?

I would suggest you to rename the folder and try to delete. You may also try copying the folder to another location, rename it and delete.
