Deleting emails

I have been cleaning out my inbox. When I try to delete emails from a certain vendor (and only from this vendor) I get "An unknown error has occurred. Please try again".
Couldn't even open the emails (same error message). Tried to move into junk but also was unsuccessful.
The vendor is a major hobby supply house from which I bought an RC helicopter, so I can't imagine they embedded some kind of virus. Also I run Microsoft Security Essentials (the best protection available - and it's free!).
Anyne know how to get rid of these emails?
