It can dispense with such files easily.
As to access denied, the user may have to remove a READ-ONLY flag with the ATTRIB command.
Some undeletable files (.dlls) have gotten into my CD burner directory. As a result I can't burn any cd. I tried re-naming them and saving them as word files and I still can't delete them. They are in the /cd burn/ directory of the documents and settings folder. I'm running XP. I used the command prompt, which as you know, brings up a DOS window. I can navigate to the offending files but when I try to delete them in the command prompt window it says access denied ( I guess that's because unlike previous MS operating systems this level isn't a true DOS level) Any suggestions?
