Question

Deleting buggy Trackball driver

Jul 21, 2011 5:53AM PDT

When checking the Kensington site to see if there was a driver update for my Expert Mouse Trackball for Lion OS, I saw an update, downloaded and installed it. Unfortunately it was a Beta and full of bugs - my Trackball no longer works at all! Yet when my iMac shows I have deleted all the Kensington software except the old driver I want to re-install, I get "a newer version of this software already exists on your drive." But I can't find it and uninstall it! I have had many phone calls and email exchanges with Kensington in India and though they said they "are researching the problem" they have offered me nothing. Plus it looks like my Trackball won't work when I switch to Lion OS with the old driver. Help!
