Deleting all the files that go with a program?

<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> How do I find all of the files that are associated with a program so that if I delete the program I can also delete everything associated with that program?

I know, laugh at it but it's one of the last with both a current browser and editor. So I use it to create HTML for apps that I author.

Sorry if that seems enigmatic but I hope that helps.

whatever it is, the user does not see the <span class.etc when they are posting.
They are probably not doing anything out of the ordinary
