Deleted Win7 system fonts_where to find

by PeterKolar / January 13, 2017 3:06 PM PST

Somehow I deleted some raster system font (*.fon) of Windows7.
Therefore, a few programs used fixedsys.fon as a compensation, which sometimes bothers. Available lists include only vector fonts, eg. here:
Can be found somewhere a list of required fonts for os win7, including raster?
thanks for advice

Font assignments are incorrect. I don't know any tool that will put the font choices back to stock (yet.)

Let's google that!

First hit.

"Hi EssenceWebsiteDesign,

You can restore the default font and remove any changes that you've made to your display settings from Appearance and Personalization.

Here’s how:

1. Open Fonts by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Fonts.
2. In the left pane, click Font settings.
3. Click Restore default font settings.

This also removes all manual changes that you've made to your display settings."
