deleted e-mails

Feb 29, 2004 9:37PM PST

I'm running Windows 98 with Netscape 7.1 as my browser. While setting up a new ISP account with Netscape Online, I had to delete my old ISP account from the mail & newsgroups to initiate the new ISP as my current e-mail server. This had the very unintended consequence of deleting the last few months of e-mails I had both sent and received; the past e-mails that I had put in folders were safe. Would there be any possible method to retreive those lost e-mails? Thanks much.

Thanks Bob, but in trying this solution I find that after "highlighting" "server settings"< there is no "advanced" button which would bring up the box to uncheck. Any suggestions? Again, I'm running Windows 98 with Netscape 7.1 browser.
