delete trojan

avast found a trojan that is a file my grand daughter used, and is unable to quarantine or delete it. IF i uninstatll all her files through the control panel, will this get rid of the trojan? Please help

Uninstalling thru the control panel

will most likely not get rid of the trojan.

1. Turn off system restore until the trojan is gone.

2. Go to this site and run the on-line scan
HOUSECALL http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

3. If that does not do it try this.
SWAT IT http://www.swatit.org/

4. If still no luck apply the trojan name in google for a cure.

5. If still no luck post the trojan name back here and someone can help.
