or you could provide a link on HOW to delete account

I refuse to email some random person listed through an unofficial forum thread in order to delete my account. Please provide TRANSPARENT information and directions on the steps for how to delete an account. It is shameful that a company as well-respected and technologically savvy as CNET should keep their members from canceling their memberships.

ALSO: PLEASE delete my account. I have been trying to find a way to delete it for an hour and I can't figure it out.

Please, delete my account now.

There is no link...

As noted in the forum sticky (http://forums.cnet.com/5208-7598_102-0.html?messageID=2809035), there is no formal method for deleting you own account, largely due to the relatively limited demand from members for such an ability. However, members are more than welcome to:

A.) Email or PM Lee Koo, the forum administrator and Community Manager for CBS Interactive, to request account deletion.
B.) Follow the Help Center link at the bottom of the page to request account deletion.
C.) Reply to one of the existing threads on the subject to request account deletion.

This post can be considered your request, which has now been forwarded to the appropriate party for processing.

Regards,
John
