Delete files but drive show it

Jul 7, 2006 4:08PM PDT

Hey all, I have a bit of an annoying problem. I have found when I move files from my primary C drive to my slave D drive via cut (from c) & paste (to d) that my c drive does show that space has been freed. THe same thing occurs when I delete a file to large for the recycle bin and it tells me it will just be permantly removed. I just deleted a 5gb folder and there has been no change in the amount of free space on my c. Ive done restarts, run system check on bootup and ran norton diagnostic tools. All of them say there is no problem! Thoughts? ANy would be appreciated, thanks
