Delete downloads

How can I delete unwanted or sensitive documents from my download file located in the Dock on my MacBook?

Open up the downloads folder

and drag what you don't need into the trash.
Empty the trash.

If, when clicking the downloads folder in the dock, the folder opens like a fan, try a right click and choose open "Downloads"

Hey... worked like a charm with the right click and I was able to trash more than one... Do you trash your downloads? I was uncomfortable with a couple that had personal info.

Once I have downloaded something,

and used it, I generally delete it.
If I find I need it again, I'll just download it again
