defraging:

set it to defrag,and it wont go any further then 1%,then it stops....how do i reset it...

You must turn off your screen saver.
First use "Cont, Alt., Delete to shut down all running programs but SysTray and Explorer, then right click on empty spot on Desktop then on dropdown menu left click properties, then left click on Screen Saver Tab and scroll down or up to Find "None" and left click it to highlight it, then left click "apply" and left click "close", then run Defrag.
It should run to the end of its program normally.
