DOES VISTA HAVE A SCREEN WHERE YOU CAN SEE YOUR COMPUTER DEFRAGMENTING LIKE THE OTHER OPERATING SYSTEMS HAVE?

Really sorry to see the defrag screen bite the dust. Myself, I liked to know what was going on with my hard drive and it takes much longer then the XP version as well. I can still see it with my IObit SmartDefrag program so I'm not to torn up about it.

MS seems to have removed some features from Vista's defrag. It would be nice to have better drive selection, defrag modes, a progess display etc. Anyway, as mentioned in another thread, I use Diskeeper 11 pro which works like a charm and has all of the above plus more. I rarely have to check on the drives these days: Diskeeper automatically defrags in the background when there are free resources without taking away from in-use applications.
