Defrag Utility - Pause/stop & restart post system shutdown?

Are there any defrag applications that allow for defragging over a period of restarts, say to allieviate the time involved in running a more thorough defrag on larger heavily fragmented disks?

Just run Defrag

Just run defrag in the safe mode. No other program can run then.
