Deference between "laptop power adapter" and "laptop power ?

Dear all cent fans:
What is the deference between "laptop power adapter" and "laptop power supply"?
Does "laptop power supply" means the adapter in the laptop only?

What the adapter is, is clear, I think. The box you connect to the mains on one side and to the laptop on the other side.

If somebody uses 'supply' in this context, ask him what he means.
