It's really works well.

If that is not quite what you want, you might tell us what OS you are using, it could be handy!

What font is currently being used by the system?
Have you been to the System preferences/Appearances and set the font smoothing on?

You should have the following in your System/Library/Fonts folder. If you do not have all of them, you much reinstall the fonts from the OS installation disk.
System/Library/Fonts/Apple LiGothic Medium.dfont
/System/Library/Fonts/AppleGothic.dfont
/System/Library/Fonts/AquaKanaBold.otf
/System/Library/Fonts/AquaKanaRegular.otf
/System/Library/Fonts/Courier.dfont
/System/Library/Fonts/Geneva.dfont
/System/Library/Fonts/Helvetica.dfont
/System/Library/Fonts/Keyboard.dfont
/System/Library/Fonts/LastResort.dfont
/System/Library/Fonts/LucidaGrande.dfont
/System/Library/Fonts/Monaco.dfont
/System/Library/Fonts/Symbol.dfont
/System/Library/Fonts/Times.dfont
/System/Library/Fonts/ZapfDingbats.dfont
/System/Library/Fonts/??ɩ????

And what sort of fonts did you originally describe?

Your description was a little "loose" and you did not explain what you were doing to change your fonts

ok , lets see.
Oct 3, 2005 6:16AM PDT

i was surfing this mac forum and found that someone asked about an ideal font for internet and 'Imodium D' was said to be a good one.

So, i just checked my mac ...but could not find this imodium D. Then u asked if i have certain fonts in the font/library. And i checked that and they were there, too.

I am just curious about this imodium D. No big deal even if i dont have it.

thank you anyway

Did I miss something?
Oct 3, 2005 7:21AM PDT

I looked all over this thread and there has not been a mention of an ''ideal'' Font for internet.
So, if you have checked and you do not have this imodium D, then you almost certainly do not need it. If you do not need imodium D, that is a good thing.

i am sorry
Oct 3, 2005 7:38AM PDT

i meant the "default display font" which was mentioned in the original topic and not the internet font.

anyways, thanks for the help..i guess i dont need the imodium D,

Try describing what you were doing to make the fonts change
Oct 18, 2005 9:47PM PDT

"crapy" is not a font or even a good description of your problem.
I suggest you start a new thread with ALL the information requested in the red print above the post and, most importantly, what you were doing to change font sizes in the first place.

What is your default font now?

No info, no help

Wonderful
Oct 26, 2005 11:59AM PDT

Still no indication as to what you were doing to change the font but now it has gone to the browser. What browser? Hopefully Safari.
Go to the View menu in Safari and slide down to text encoding. Tell me what is checked.
Go to preferences, Appearance and, if it is not already chosen, select Times 16 and Courier 13 as the two fonts and Western ISO Latin 1 as the default.

Let us know how it went
