Question

Default Sound Pref changes on re-boot! WHY????

After upgrading from 10.5.x to 10.6.8, every time I boot up my iMac 2.4 Ghz Inte Core 2 Duo, the System Preferences Sound OUTPUT changes from Internal Speakers to my external mixer (Tapco-Link.usb)!!! HELP!!!!

no such pref files in either library. preferemce folders

the only one i have is:
com.apple.dockfixup.plist
should I dump that????
