Default settings for the LN52A759

Dec 3, 2008 5:05AM PST

Have down loaded and set up new firmware to LN52A750,But would like
the default settings. They may be off set from trying to get a better picture,That is why Samsung had me update the firmware.
Or if there is updated setup for sharper pIcture,or where I can search for the settings. Again thanks for your help. Sid

there is a code to get into the factory mode settings, but you must not mess around with any of the other settings in this mode, using the samsung remote, turn off the tv, and push the mute buttin first and then 182 and power button, this will bring up the factory mode, find the reset and push enter, this will restore the original settings to default

Sid,

Welcome to the forum.

Please disregard the post regarding the factory reset mode.

Entering the service menu is for Authorized Samsung Repair Technicians only. If you reset the wrong menu, you could damage your television. I never, NEVER recommend doing that.

Besides, after the firmware update, those settings ARE the new factory defaults. It would be redundant.

There are several forums on the internet for different settings, but of course, they vary based on the amount of ambient light in the room and personal preference. You might try to google your model number and "settings" and see what comes up.

Let me know if I can help in any other way.
