Still cant get it tried your suggestions.........any more? cheers Brian
open Windows Media Player,
select command Tools>Options
Options tab: File Types
select any or all the types of files you want to automatically open with Windows Media Player.
That should work, unless some other player has locked the file association to itself.
I went to tools, options but then there was not an option for File types. Am I loking wrong?
Thanks Jon
Which version of WMP?
I have WMP 9 and the File types tab is in the Options dialogue window that opens when you open up WMP and goto Tools then Options.
