Me too.

It seems to happen on updates. Too easy to change back so I never consider it a bug. Just an annoyance.

Answer
Have You Set Default In This Place?

First, click on the Start button, then "Settings" link, then "Apps", then "Default Apps". When that opens scroll to the "Web Browser" section, click once on the current default app to open the change window, then select your choice of default browser.

And it's also important to note that Microsoft seems to shift the default back to Edge each time an update occurs. So, after an update, or at least after the large updates, be sure to check the "Default Apps" section listed above and change it to your browser of choice if gone back to Edge.

Hope this helps.
