If you get the integrated you can always see if that is adequate for your choice of software/games. If it does not perform to your expectations then you can always supplement with an added video card later.
The computer can be set up to not use the integrated video circuits, or even more useful, to augment it. Thus having at least two video outputs available.
Hello,
I'm thinking about getting a new desktop PC. I've been looking at ones like this and was wondering if I needed a integrated or dedicated graphics card.
I've seen a list of computer upgrades available from them and am willing to buy a dedicated graphics card. My question(s) are;
1) If I buy said PC and one of the graphics cards, will they be compatible and will I be able to install it relatively easily (I can follow online guides etc but don't want to break anything)
2) If I want to play things such as Planetside 2, Cities in Motion etc with relatively high quality settings, will this be possible with a dedicated/integrated, and how much difference will there be between the two?
I'm not really into first-person shooters if that helps (less graphics?)
I know I'm asking alot and really appreciate any help.
Thanks ![]()
