I got my phone at the end of October, refurbished from Verizon, it worked great the first night, the next day I went to put a screen protector on. Got a cat hair stuck under it so I peeled it off and threw it away. Turned the phone back on and the screen started to not work correctly, so I used some rubbing alcohol to clean any excess sticky residue from the protector. Turned it back on and it still didn't work right. It clicks stuff on its own, there is only one keyboard I can use for texting because spots of the screen don't respond to touch. I have to zoom and rotate the screen in order to press certain things or accept permissions for apps. I recently used the draw something game and colored the whole screen and found a full strip almost half way across the screen that doesn't respond.
I had called Verizon the first day it happened but I am.not the account holder and they were in Bermuda on a cruise Verizon couldn't help me, all they did was a factory reset which didn't help at all. By the time the account holder was back in the US my 30days was up from Verizon so I have just been stuck with a messed up phone.
Does anyone know if this is a screen issue and just needs a replacement, or could it possibly be a software issue of sorts(I've heard of a few screen issues similar that were software?)
