Hi, i've had a Samsung Q1 for about 2 years now, and last week it died. The music cut and was followed by a loud hissing sound. I dont care much for the music, since it had gotten to be a mess and i needed to reset it anyways. After 2 years, i'm satisfied that i got my money's worth (someone tell me if i'm wrong, haha).
What really bothers me is that i'm a musician and i've been using this mp3 player basically as a field recorder, recording my riffs and jams everywhere i go. It is an archive of my own music over the past 2 years. These tracks are priceless.
Please, someone tell me there's a way to extract these off the hard drive. I'd be ready to pay quite a bit to get these back.
Oh, and please spare me the "You should have backed up those files" speech, lol, i'm more than aware i could have avoided this.
