Dead Laptop help or laptop screen into a lcd tv or monitor

by 9cassidy9 / May 16, 2006 4:07 AM PDT

I have 2 laptop computers that have died on me. (one was liquid and so I bought it for $20 to play around with the insides and the other Will charge up and when I turn on the power it will start up but the screen will not turn on and the laptop will shut off within 15 sec.)
So now I have 2 laptop screens that should be good. So I;m looking for a way to turn the lcd screens into either a monitor or else an LCD TV. Is there some sort of hardware that I can buy or make that will turn these spare parts into something useful?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
