Dead hard drive

Hello, My hard drive is dead, not recognized in BIOS and does not make any sound, what should I do? Any way to get the files and pictures back from the Hard disk?

Yes, there is a way to recover data- you go to software recovery specialist to regain the lost data. I would recommend Data Recovery Services and seek expert opinion

Hi there.

I agree with jackd1839 - the best option you have to get your information back from the drive since it is not showing up in BIOS is to consult with a data recovery specialist and see how much of the data can be retrieved from the HDD. Also just keep in mind that the more you try to repair it, the worse the damage and therefore the data extraction may become.

It varies by country but take a lot at drivesavers.com which has been at this a very long time.

I agree with the other posters of data retrieval services, which aren't cheap. Again, if you try any other fixes and still doesn't help you, and the data is critical to you or precious, the cost is worth it.
