deactivate flashing

Have a Sony TRV85 camcorder. Want to use it for live video broadcasting, but when tape is removed, it shows a blinking tape.

HAVE to have the blinking tape removed.

How can I disable this????

Do you mean using the camcorder like a monitoring camera without recording ?

The blinking tape sign correctly indicates(warns) that a tape cassette is not in its holder.... To do want you want, put in a tape, and have the camcorder in "Ready" mode ...

But share exactly what you want to do ....if I have missed your point, and provide the full model number.
