You can determine what video adapter you have by looking in Device Manager. If you have integrated graphics, which I suspect you do, your system may not support certain games. I'm not familiar with "DDO", but I assume that's the problem. If your system came with integrated graphics, there is no option to upgrade.
I have recently downloaded DDO online and am trying to play it. When I try to sign in I get this message " No suitable graphics device found. Are you running through a remote session or VM? If not please check your video hardware capabilities.[122]" I have a Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop that I bought a year ago. I figured I needed a video card so I went to RadioShack. Guy there told me that the video cards are usually on the motherboards of laptops. He tried looking up video cards for my computer, but apparently there are none. He said I would have to update it. Can anyone help me with this?
