Dave K and George Will agree on something? Are pigs flying?

Dec 2, 2003 4:05AM PST

Where's that flying pig graphic when we need it?

Dave K won't agree with everything in the article, but I suspect he'll like a lot of it:
Conservatism, Um, Evolving

I was surprised by Will's last line. He is correct, of course, but I didn't expect him to recognize this: "House and Senate Republicans must assume they will never again be in the minority and vulnerable to payback. They are mistaken."

Another mystery

I haven't been able to fathom why the Republicans, apparently led by Senator Hatch seem so determined to follow the dictates of Hollywood. I'm talking, of course, about copyrights and that monstrosity the DMCA. Don't these guys remember that Hollywood was dancing in the streets when Bill Clinton was elected? Now they take Hollywood's side against the interests of the ordinary citizen.

No, just consistant.

The republicans are taking the side of corporations against the interests of individuals.

Dr. Bill,

Do you know that Roger Fredinburg (right wing talking head on Radio America Network), who is right of the virgin Mary, AGREES with Mr. Saphire and laments the fact that we can't have a blood-filled revolution???

Tim, it's been my observation over time that the farther you go (right or left) the more likely you are to find yourself all the way around on the other end from where you thought you were. Your example is but one more of that phenomenon.
