I used the forum search and found my previous note about this.

In closing, unless Kodak updates their software you will have to choose to do this after the fact or replace the camera. Given the hourly wage of having an employee do this, I'd replace the camera.

My company uses several cameras to keep records of the progress on our construction projects. We use a couple of Sony and several Olympus cameras. They all record the date and time the photo was taken. However, our oldest camera is a Kodak DC-50. It's a great camera but I have to use Twain to download the photos and the dates are not retained when I save the photos. I use ThumbsPlus to dowload the photos and create printed thumbnail catalog pages. When I am downloading the photos the date and time are shown, but when I save them to a directory, the date disappears.
Are there any Kodak DC-50 or Twain users who may be able to tell me how I can get the photos to save with the date intact?
My OS is Windows 2000 on a Pentium IV machine.
Thanks,
