DateStamp Batch Stamper

May 28, 2014 5:59AM PDT

Just downloaded and installed DateStamp Batch Stamper on my MacBook Pro with OS X 10.7.5, followed all the steps and loaded the batch of photos I wanted to date stamp, clicked on "Stamp Files" and all I got was the photos transferred to the download folder marked Stamped.

Anyone experienced this? How do I get this to work?

My advice is to keep shopping.

This may be a silly question, but,

did you know that iPhoto can Batch Date Stamp?

You'll find it under Photo's in the menu bar

Thanks P,

I tried iPhoto, but it seems to date the photo it on a border within iPhoto but not on the photo itself so when I copy the photo elsewhere, the date does not appear.

Will keep on searching.

it changes the internal date of the Photo, in the metadata, which is what other photo organizing software reads to determine the date on which the picture was taken.

Personally, I have always found the date and time stamped on the picture itself to be tacky.

iPhoto will organize in date order, events, which is all I need to determine when the picture was taken.
