Question

DATA TRANSFER HTC&VERIZON TO SAMSUNG&TMOBILE

Jun 29, 2013 1:32AM PDT

OK, It's probably quite simple to do but I figure asking for help from someone already knowing how will make it happen quickly.

I have a new Galaxy Note 2 on T-Mobile and switching providers from Verizon and my HTC Thunderbolt.

What is the best way to get all my contacts and any data transferred from HTC to Note 2 ?

Tether together phone to phone ?
Sinc to computer then download to Note 2 ?

I have already deleted all photo's so don't care about that. However, one thing I have discovered with my HTC not working with my Note 2 is the recorded voice messages on my HTC's SD card not playing back on my Note 2 when I transfer the SD card to the Note 2. I installed a Voice Recorder App on my new Note 2, thought it was the same App that's on the HTC but no go on the Note 2.

Should I download the file from my HTC to my laptop running Win7 HE ? And if so, what's the best way to do it ? I have important recordings I want to keep.

Thanks for your help.

Just transfer recordings to a PC, yes

Use an external memory card reader if connecting directly via USb doesn't work for you.

Regarding contacts, Verizon has a backup assistant that lets you export as an CSV file. Since I presume your account is defunct, and that's not an option, maybe see if they are still visible on the phone still, and upload to Google (etc.). That's how I would proceed.

How does video intercom system help in safety and how it is different from CCTV camera? Which one is the best and cost-effective idea to go for? Please suggest.

Small world.

Some work I did as a consultant was all about the cost of CCTV over cellular. The answer changes as you move around the world. But in every case the cost depends on what the cellular carrier charges so you never find your answer in a forum.
