ETF=early termination fee. It can be upwards of $375, AFAIK. Just prorate that fact in with your desire to switch now. Otherwise, when your current contract is completed, maybe try Straighttalk, which would allow you to use an iPhone and also keep your current native ATT coverage (they are an ATT MVNO). Just as long as you aren't using exorbitant amounts of data you should be OK.
I signed up with AT&T a while back...phone bill is about $80/month. I would like to cancel my contract and find a service that works with the iPhone (it's unblocked) and is cheaper.
All the stuff I found is incredibly confusing...I'd like a monthly service that includes data, I don't talk much and I don't want to be tied in monthly contracts. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
