I have Win. XP with sp2. An e machine T5026 Pent. 4 512MB. I was reading on your site and started to close it and my computer said it needed it close IE, Then it shut down and restarted. And I have this big box in the middle of my screen that says Data Execution Prevention- Microsoft Windows To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program. Name Windows Logon UI Publisher microsoft Corp. then 2 boxes Change settings . and Close Message. It will not let me close the message. If I click change settings, It tells me not to do that. I have Norton AV, Webroot spy sweeper which i just did a scan with, Spyware blaster, Ad aware, Spy Bot Microsoft anti spyware, spyware doctor, Ewido. What is this? How do I get rid of it? thanks. Oh i can still read my email and use IE. Just have to move this box out of the way. Barb

I went to the site and read what it said. I clicked on close the window for the 100th time. And this time it worked. I don't know if this was all a glitch or not. But it is gone now. I printed out what the site said if it comes back. Thank you very much for responding so quickly. These things can be so frustrating at times. Barb
