My bet is they (should) have you check firmware updates, factory reset and try again.

Apps are the good and bad about these devices. We already see few year old devices with failing and discontinued apps.

I have tried a gard reset and there are no firmware updates available. All other apps on my Smart DVD player work fine. Player is 2 years old.

And trouble. I respect everyone's privacy in the forums but just in case, can you share a link to the samsung.com site for this model along with the current firmware version you have?

Next up is contact with Dailymotion to report app problems. Samsung rarely writes those apps.

All other apps are fine Youtube,Netflix and cinema now along with all the rest load and play fine. I had a Samsung tech on phone go through a check list to resolve the matter but he could not do it. He said it was down to Dailymotion support. I have emailed them but all I get back is that they are aware of the problem and that it will take a day or two to put right..it's been two weeks now.

I have a viable way, you can download a converter, first of all, it's "Download Video" button can download more than 90% of Dailymotion, YouTube videos, and then select the output format as "Samsung TV", there is a page may be helpful. http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/save-video-from-dailymotion.html good luck man, by the way, I am not salesman, just an idea sharing
